We survived the fall semester. Now that 2022 has arrived, I will begin collecting backpacks and school supplies for our second annual back to school party in July. Last summer, we distributed 39 backpacks to the kids at St. Paul’s Sudanese Church in Phoenix. We would like to be able to give out more this year. During the school year, I usually travel from Yuma to Tempe once a month to scout out treasures from my favorite teacher supply store.
