Rainy season is about to begin in South Sudan and summer is roaring in North America with temperatures hovering around triple digits. All summer vacations are in limbo due to Covid 19 pandemic but human hopes and desires to see all these go remain a possibility in the near term.

As I reflect on all the journeys we had embarked on in our lives, whether for pleasure or safety, all of them starts small and grew from there. As for me, when I left my village over 30 years ago, it seem like we were going to return in moment notice and resume our usual activities of herding goats, cattle and helping in the family farm and be a kid again but as it turned out, that journey is still unfinished as we strive to bring couple classrooms to the village that has remain the same as I left it over 30 years ago. Although the flight to return maybe longer and the prospect of providing sustainable classrooms linger on, I never lost hope in humanity and folks of good conscious that will or already have join us in delivering sustainable classrooms to the village kids a possibility.
